Underachiever Oscar (Will Smith) is a pint-sized fish with grand aspirations. When mob-connected great white shark Frankie (Michael Imperioli) is accidentally killed, Oscar concocts a story with Frankie's peace-loving brother Lenny (Jack Black) that it was he who murdered the shark. As it is, it's an adequate time-killer that benefits from an impressive voice cast... Best of the bunch is Martin Scorsese as puffer-fish Sykes, sounding like he's sucked on helium.

I love this movie, not sure where all the hate comes from. Its a kids movie about what can happen when you tell a lie and how you have to be a better person and fess up. Really cute message, hilarious movie great casting... I mean there's a Marley as a jellyfish!! Too funny. Have a seat Rotten tomatoes and let the kids have this one. It's a really cute funny heartfelt movie.

To be honest, it was the worst movie that I ever saw until Megamind 2 came out, the character development was low and there is a lot of pop culture references and even a predictable plot.

I love how it sincere and honest Will Smith is as he plays Oscar the fish in the movie. Even though he comes up with a fake lie that he killed a shark, even though he didn’t do it.
