The plot picks up five years after the last sharknado disaster, with Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) trying to enjoy a quieter life. But peace doesn’t last long as sharknados resurface in increasingly ludicrous forms—sandnados, lightningnados, and even a nuclear sharknado. The stakes are absurdly high, and Fin is once again thrust into action, this time accompanied by his cyborg wife, April (Tara Reid), and an ever-growing team of quirky allies. The film excels at leaning into its absurd premise without hesitation. From sharks in space to a slow-motion chainsaw duel, every scene seems designed to one-up the last. The visual effects, while deliberately low-budget, add to the film’s charm.
