The film leans into a cartoonish tone at times, using exaggerated elements that clash with what should be a more grounded and unsettling atmosphere. That stylistic choice never fully works and becomes distracting. Narratively, the story feels underdeveloped. Ideas are introduced but not explored deeply enough, leaving the film feeling flat instead of immersive. The screenplay is one of the weakest elements. It often feels confused about its own direction, jumping between concepts without fully committing to any of them. That confusion carries into the direction as well. There’s a sense that the filmmaker is unsure how to translate the script into a cohesive and compelling story.
