Sanne d @Sannedevries 6d I watched Silent Zone on Pathé streaming (Netherlands) and really liked it. At first it feels like a classic zombie setup, so I thought I knew where it was going. But when the scientist character appears, the story takes a turn and becomes much more unique and interesting. The characters are well written and easy to follow, and even though the actors aren’t well known, they really do a great job. It feels sincere and well made, especially for a smaller production. Overall, it’s a solid zombie film with a fresh angle, and I’m glad I gave it a chance. You can tell it’s a low-budget movie, but it’s done in a really smart way. The action scenes are intense and well executed, and the visuals are much stronger than I expected. The actors aren’t big names, but they’re genuinely good and feel right in their roles. It feels like a small, indie zombie movie with a lot of ambition, and it definitely delivers more than you’d expect. I didn’t expect to get pulled in, but the characters were actually really solid and easy to care about. It’s not just another zombie movie — there’s a lot of emotion in it, and the relationships felt real. By the end I was paying full attention. Sadly there was little to no redeeming qualities about the movie. From the poor acting, cringy writing, low budget terrible effects.
