Chronicles the life of an elementary schoolteacher in her late 20's in Los Angeles -- her sexually-charged libertine side often clashing with a desire for stability and permanence in her personal and professional life. Many of the more shocking personal revelations that befall Ms. Bennett's character (who, to this day, still works as a grade school teacher in southern California) are only slightly fictionalized in the film, as portrayed by Ms. Bennett and by some of her real-life ex-lovers.
