...the film's progressively tedious vibe [is] compounded by the inclusion of an eye-rollingly pointless fake break-up towards the end. Go to Full Review

For a teen film, StarStruck has great music, a solid romantic-comedy backbone, and decent performances. Only the illogical moments and shortcuts keep it from being an unqualified success. Go to Full Review

Jack G @Gump.jack 3d In the film, the protagonists move from an unequal relationship mindset to mutual equality and respect. Love is not only romance, but a process through which they each break through their limitations and become better versions of themselves. It also helps the male lead regain his freedom and sincere side. The female lead is not a passive character waiting to be saved, but one who grows and makes choices actively. However, the scene in which the protagonists drive into a swamp after taking a wrong turn is highly unrealistic, and a car being completely buried in a swamp is equally almost impossible in reality. See more Leon Cabra S Jul 29 It's a 2nd film that 3rd, it has its good things like the songs that give it a good touch, but it's very meh, there are better movies. See more Velnxy May 31 Okay, I grew up with movies like Camp Rock, Highschool Musical, etc and Starstruck along with the others; are so hilariously cringe that you end up liking them ironically as you get older. (Maybe that's just me.) I mean of course when we were kids we didn't find it cringe, but it's just one of those funny movies that brings out nostalgia by watching it. So 10/10 even years later, after rewatching it. I'm mostly bias because of my childhood but oh well. See more Vi A Apr 27 YA PAS DE BISOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
