From the start, it feels unfocused and disconnected, struggling to establish a clear tone or sense of purpose. The screenplay is the biggest issue, jumping between ideas without fully developing any of them. The killer, the mythology, and the overall threat are poorly defined, making it hard to care about what’s happening or where the story is going. The direction doesn’t help matters. Scenes feel oddly paced, tension is never allowed to build, and moments that should be frightening fall completely flat. It feels like the writer and director weren’t working cohesively, resulting in a film that wanders instead of escalating. Worst of all, the horror element is almost nonexistent.
