The movie isn't in the same league as Disney's big four, and it doesn't have the same crossover appeal to adults, but as family entertainment it's bright and cheerful, and it has its moments.

The Swan Princess features gorgeous classical animation and a wonderful vocal cast, but sadly its story is rather bland, simple, and more than a little generic.

[It has] this local pedigree that just makes me inclined to to think favorably of it but I have to admit it's not a very strong film.

A cheap and soulless sequel that throws away the excellent animation and memorable soundtrack of the first film. With a repetitive plot, tiresome music, and a generic villain lacking a third of the original's charisma, it only works as a one-hour test of patience.

I’m watching it again after a million views as a kid. Of course it’s bad—-but in a good way!

The film started out different from most other princess stories, which I enjoyed. But then it ended the same as most
