None of the dialogue, motivations or decisions made since. Some of the worst acting I've ever seen in my life and the "couple" seem like more childhood buddies than a couple. It's almost as if children produced and directly this movie. Which brings me to the next point. Everyone including characters that are supposed to be much older is in their late teens or early twenties. Maybe that's the joke, but it's just not funny. And the girl is unusually sexualized the entire movie for some reason. Again, maybe that's another joke or statement or something, but falls flat and just seems really awkward and weird. See more prawnda s 07/12/2022 i have no idea where all of these awful ratings are coming from. i took a chance despite them, and i loved it. i can't help but feel the critics are financially benefitting from saying it's bad, and none of them really have a relevant explanation for why they didn't like it. "they cant sell the idea that the couple would be so easily transformed by greed"... bruh there are like 5 firm LotR references in this film and the entire concept is clearly inspired by the ring. do any of these reviewers even know who tolkein is, or are they all chatbots?
