Hotma Fani H @RT22527964 Sep 13, 2026 The Gentleman Thief has all the basic ingredients for what should be a fun heist movie: a veteran thief, expensive paintings, betrayal, and John Travolta. Unfortunately, those ingredients are put together like a project that just wants to be done as quickly as possible. Travolta still has the charisma, but the script is way too generic to give him anything genuinely interesting to work with. The plot twists arrive with a very "well, of course that’s what happens" energy, while the supporting characters feel more like plot devices than actual people. At 97 minutes, the movie is already pretty short, yet the pacing still feels weird. It rarely builds any real tension, and by the time it finally tries to get clever, we’re already several steps ahead of it. The most frustrating part is that the movie had the potential to be a light, entertaining crime thriller, but it ends up feeling too flat and formulaic. The Gentleman Thief isn’t a complete disaster. Waste of time! 🤮 See more Carcamal G @carcamal Aug 27, 2026 The Gentleman Thief is a cheesy, cringy, corny disaster pretending to be a movie. Every "cool" moment melts into embarrassment. Every line is pure cringe. Every cliché hits you like a brick made of corn. Travolta looks trapped, the script is a joke, and the whole thing plays like a knockoff heist film made by people who think sunglasses = personality. It’s not stylish-it’s secondhand embarrassment on loop. See more MOHAMMED M @RT32417724 Aug 23, 2026 One of the worst ever.
