Aileen D @RT17276951 12 hrs ago Sweet movie, charming, and very funny. A light comedy with Brendan Gleason carrying the film as well as the rest of the small population of a Newfoundland harbor town, as they do their best to seduce a young doctor to become a permanent resident in order to gain a plant contract. The best scene is when two women listen in to the conversation of the doctor calling home. See more Lynne F. @lynnie4t Feb 23, 2026 It was very entertaining! Not too deep but fun to watch and made me laugh a lot! Lovable characters! See more Rhyan D @RT41729980 Oct 19, 2025 A lovely movie. Brendan Gleeson and Taylor Kitsch are amazing as always! See more Alain E @AlainE Sep 1, 2025 As a doctor myself, I wanted to see what happens when the doctor they are recruiting finally arrives, but at 30 minutes I had watched enough cricket to last me a lifetime. The rest of the movie is not offensive, but not stimulating enough to keep watching. See more Wise M @RT95541508 Jul 2, 2025 Good-hearted fun. Great feel-good movie without violence, drugs, sex etc. Interesting characters and story. Will definitely watch again. See more William B @RT71260610 Jun 1, 2025 It’s a sweet film. It is really one of my favorite movies to just watch and relax and feel good. It’s also my daughter’s favorite all time movie. It’s just a simple story of a small harbor. It’s funny it’s sweet and it is really just enjoyable. See more Read all reviews
