HIT
The More the Merrier weaves multiple stories together, all unified by the unexpected Christmas Eve baby boom. This makes the movie ... well, still reliably predictable but a little more surprising. Go to Full Review

There’s a tremendous amount of warmth and realistic humor embedded throughout The More The Merrier that keeps it from entering maudlin territory. It’s got the perfect blend of wit, tenderness and charm, the ideal holiday comfort watch. Go to Full Review

The premise for The More the Merrier sounds like it can be a lot, and to a degree, it is. But it’s thoroughly entertaining, and it works, making it easy to believe in how a catastrophe of events can lead to significant life-changing circumstances Go to Full Review

Tiffany G Dec 10 Review: https://wp.me/p65txm-hYY/#TheMoreTheMerrier See more Mark B @Mbindon Dec 5 I rawly enjoyed this movie. It is a Hallmark movie so I rate it highly for what it is. Well acted movie that weaves a few stories of the people coming in. It has a lot of heart and really works. See more Pat K @PatKast Nov 30 This is a really bad movie.... The only thing Christmas about this movie is the staff giving Christmas cookies to the very few patients in the ER, staff (and doctors) decorating a Christmas tree and a cameo by Santa in one of the ER rooms. Hallmark cast, writers and etc have obviously never been to the ER based on this movie. Penny's character (He's a Cardiologist), for some reason, has to entertain 2 teenage boys and when he's called over the loud speaker, Penny assigns the boys to another staff member (like he's got nothing better to do). Everyone knows a snowstorm is coming and they're totally unprepared for it. Most of the staff is sent home including the Head Chef (cafeteria) who sends all his staff home and even makes a stupid comment about it. The power goes out, then comes on except in the Maternity ward so they move the maternity ward to another room that used to magically be the old ward, complete with all hookups and amenities in place. The Pregnant Mothers go into labor and go into the delivery room and then we see the newborn babies & their info. No drama, no delivery pains and nothing shown about the birth delivery.... just a baby magically appears in the baby ward. Nobody eats thru this movie, except cookies. Some of the kids are given hospital beds to sleep in, even though they're 75% full. Nobody is checked into the ER, given paperwork or vitals taken (which is done in every ER I've ever been in). Acting is bad, no connection or chemistry between Boston & Penny's characters, movie is slow & boring, movie lacks action & emotion and this movie is unrealistic of what happens in an ER. The 3rd lady goes into labor and the snowplow driver magically shows up at the right moment to take her to the ER. Oh and Hallmark has to let everyone know (once again) that the women are in charge.
