Ed D @Enardle Jan 18, 2026 I don’t understand why this movie got bad reviews from anyone. It has a very good cast and Jaime King was very convincing in her role. In spite of the portrayal and production being somewhat well done, the narrative never really gains strength in its delivery. The fact that it is based on true events makes it all the more sad and tragic. See more Mar 24, 2013 Very structurally flawed film. First act moves very quickly; almost too quickly. Final act drags on forever. The editing was awkward. Many scenes went on a beat (or several beats) too long. Strange cinematography. Overbearing score. Poor acting performances.
