See more Victor O 10/08/2023 I saw this title in actress Peyton List's filmography, and I wondered if this was worth a look. In the fairytale land of Fantabularasa, Princess Rose has been protected fiercely by her father the king after having been cursed by the prophecy of an evil witch. She claims Rose will fall into a deep sleep after pricking her finger on a thorn before her 18th birthday, with the only thing to undo the curse is a kiss from a true love. So on the day Rose turns eighteen, it becomes a fabulous party dedicated to outsmarting the evil witch, unfortunately, the antics of Bubo of the Seven Dwarves inadvertently cause the prophecy to occur with Jack, Rose's true love captured. But hope is not lost as the Dwarves with assistance go on an adventure to save all of Fantabularasa from the evil witch. This was a nice movie but as it turns out not wholly original. It is the second sequel of a popular German animated franchise similar to Shrek in that they combine several stories of the Grimm Brothers' fairytales into a sanitized children's adventure film with American actors voicing the characters for the US release. See more 07/21/2017 Literally the best movie I have ever seen. I was sold about 5 minutes in the movie when a emo dwarf dodges a cake matrix style. And near the middle of the film, a dragon pulls out a noose and trys to hang himself because the little dwarf laughed at his tap dancing, I am not kidding. Not to mention this movie has the hottest sound tracks I have ever heard. An evil witch places a curse on the princess that will cause her to have issues having children. She seeks out the seven dwarves to help her find the witch and reverse the curse. How can the dwarves convince the witch the injustice of her ways and get her to reverse the curse? "Sometimes a little bad luck is all you need." Boris Aljinovic and Harald Siepermann collaborate for both of their first ever major motion picture in the delivering of The Seventh Dwarf. The storyline for this picture is fairly mediocre, predictable, and contains just average characters. The animation style was okay and the voices fit the characters well. "It's time to turn his story into my story." I recently came across this on Netflix and added it to my queue to watch with my daughter. We loved the film overall and watched it from beginning to end. This isn't a classic addition to the genre, or worth purchasing, but it is worth watching once with your children. "Give me a place to stand and I'll change the world."
