Some of it feels a bit underdeveloped, but the suggestion that we could all be living in Twitlandia if we don’t find deeper wells of empathy on all sides feels like a valuable one.

The Twits is exactly what one might imagine a Netflix Dahl adaptation to be: Diluted, simplistic animation, as cloying and feckless and smoothed over as anything from the last decade of Illumination films.

Worst movie I’ve ever watched and that’s not an overstatement it was nothing like the book half of it was just made up what the new gen would like glad I know not to show this to my kids for future reference hates everything about it not any positives I can say about it I watched half way and needed to make a complaint.

I loved Roald Dahl books growing up, and I don't consider myself as a person lacking empathy. The Twits is a very short book, so I see the need to add content to make it a full length movie, but I think they missed the mark with this one. A fun story about 2 horrible people has an unfortunate conclusion that doesn't match up with the book I loved so long ago.

Painful - horrible bastardization of the source material. Clearly the Dahl estate will easily sell out to make a buck. They took a classic and meaningful children's book and grossly politicized it into a low brow pile of poo. Netflix is charging way to much to subscribers to be giving us this junk.
