This lean, mean, R-rated action machine is better than you'd think since Momoa and Bautista take the time, between fights and jokes, to examine the bruised places in the hearts of these half brothers. You feel for them, and that makes all the difference.

Extremely violent, predictably plotted and more than occasionally puerile it may be, it is hard though to dislike a movie with such swagger, chutzpah and the most evocative use of Air Supply since 2010’s Animal Kingdom.

This is a very fun action movie to watch for a movie night. This is a good movie with good moments and greater action scenes that are very unique and executed perfectly. No shaky cam, you can see the action very well so you can take it in. The story is a bit weak so thats what holds it back its very basic but this movie is a fun ride.

Directed by Ángel Manuel Soto, the film pairs Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista as estranged half-brothers investigating a conspiracy in Hawaii. While the action set-pieces are hard-hitting and visually slick, the narrative relies heavily on predictable tropes, generic plot twists, and villains who feel too easily outmatched to create genuine stakes. Momoa brings endless charisma and carry-the-film energy to his role, whereas the script leaves Bautista feeling somewhat stiff in comparison. Though the performances and story remain strictly average, the brisk pacing and entertaining dynamic ensure you won't be bored.

So cliché and cheesy. Good for a boom boom action show with no thinking involved. Maybe I'm getting old and the internet is ruining me, but sheesh. Especially the plot armor over reality. -Here I'm going to put this grenade on an explosive barrel I'm standing next to, while you're 20 feet away, and when it goes off, you'll die and I'll just get thrown into the water with barely a scratch- What? Good movie if you've had a few drinks beforehand and don't think to hard,.
