Robert Abele Los Angeles Times 10/12/2017
What's cringe-worthy about "Trafficked," directed by Will Wallace, is how unnecessarily eroticized it is, like something from the made-for-video bin in a '90s-era Blockbuster. Go to Full Review
Frank Scheck The Hollywood Reporter 10/06/2017
Unfortunately, for all its social relevance and good intentions, Trafficked mainly proves that university professors don't make the best screenwriters. Go to Full Review

Trafficked ... manages to illustrate the sexual, physical and mental abuse that human traffickers inflict on victims to make them feel less than human. Go to Full Review

It's a rough watch in parts as things are shown and suggested that should shock and appall everyone. It's a powerful film and should be seen. Go to Full Review

Tackling a serious subject but looking like a bad after-school special, this drama is terribly forced and indelicate; it tries to deliver an important message but feels more like a cheap thriller. Go to Full Review

The kind of movie that preaches to the converted, and as such it's hard to figure out how much good it's doing. Go to Full Review

Caitlin S @Gamerchick14 Jan 18 Horrific, disturbing, honestly made me uncomfortable to watch (which should be the point when discussing human trafficking) saw another review call it "erotic" and I think they should be reported. There's nothing erotic or sexualised about this movie. It's disturbing and disgusting as it should be. I think ti did a great job of the fear, emotions, and horrors within the trafficking rings. My only complaint and why it's not 5/5 is because as other reviews it does have kind of a cheap/university film feel to it. Some scenes felt forced and faked. But it was definitely still a great movie for depicting what goes on in our world. See more Tammy F @Cherrytea Dec 12 Makes people aware of how nice someone seems to be, yet evil. Makes one learn not to trust anyone. Unless you have known them for a long, long time. No sex scenes, so for anyone that would make them uneasy. These sleazy snakes that traffic women or men, need to be punished by torture. Truly made me cry at the end. See more Queenie 04/29/2024 A story based on true events, so sad knowing that this can happen to young innocent girls. Parts of the movie were a little difficult to see as too dark, but otherwise it was upsetting to realise that trafficking is real. See more 04/12/2021 Probably the worst movie I've ever seen! Other than Dean Cain acting the rest of the acting was atrocious. Poor camera work random weird music in scenes please don't waste your time! The plot doesn't even work a 15 year old girl gets kidnapped and within a week she is willing to go be an escort Jesus christ 🙄 See more 06/08/2020 A difficult movie to watch, but it effectively shows the horrors of trafficking that happen all around us. (First and only viewing - 5/20/2020) See more 06/07/2020 Way better than expected. Would definitely recommend. See more Read all reviews
