All this biopic material about the corruption of Kaczynski’s high IQ is drab and lazy: it simply recycles A Beautiful Mind and assumes, job done. Go to Full Review

You root for the right people in “Unabomber,” even if the heroine is fictional and the talented Mr. Tremblay makes youthful frustration and rage a bit too sympathetic. Go to Full Review

Unabomber feels less like a movie and more like another box checked on Netflix’s long, long list of true crime content. Go to Full Review

But what gives “Unabomber” its force is Tremblay. What holds it back is how often the film pulls away from him. Go to Full Review

Considering all the ways the story of the homegrown terrorist Ted Kaczynski could be told, this is one of the less sensationalist but perhaps also less gripping approaches. Go to Full Review

Mirza M @mirzabaig890 57 min ago 'Unabomber' is a watchable true-crime drama that boasts a strong cast and an intriguing premise but never fully realizes either. See more Yash B @yashbansal 1 hr ago "Unabomber" is a decent movie, but it feels very unfocused. The movie is split between the infamous criminal's college days and the manhunt that took place years later to catch him. These are both interesting storylines, but they shouldn't have been crammed into a 90-minute movie. I feel like this could have been a lot better fleshed out as a miniseries. I still think what's presented was interesting, and I would actually like to learn more about this story after watching it. Overall, it is an okay Netflix movie that doesn't live up to its potential, but is a passable one-time watch for what it is. See more Noam K @Noamkaiser 1 hr ago Surprisingly bad. The details if the investigations are interesting enough to not require the fiction and fictional characters and storyline (and if course the political and PC undertone). This isn't true crime, this is fiction with real news clips added to provide it with gravitas it doesn't have. The resualt is sloppy, slow paced, boring and the suspencful moments come off as absurd. I wish it wasn't made. See more Kenadi L @ShotgunKitty 5 hrs ago Worst true crime movie I’ve seen in ages, horribly inaccurate— why would they make up a fictional character who played zero part in the actual case?? "We are going to portray this character and call it biographical and just make things up". This movie felt lazy and ridiculous. They barely touched on the driving forces behind his crimes. He didn’t just start blowing people up because he was angry about what happened in college, there was YEARS of instances where technology and industrialization impacted his life, but the movie makes it seem like modern minor inconveniences (such as the walk sign) drove him to insanity. If you’re going to portray this guy as insane, which, he undeniably must’ve been to a degree, at least detail the real reasons he acted the way he didz See more Jeremy W @RT95290045 11 hrs ago Complete waste of time... ill save you an hour and a half. She goes to his house, calls the FBI they slowly pull him out of the house and then find a bomb. Thats the entire movie... the most anticlimactic movie ive ever seen See more Young S @YoungStevie 15 hrs ago Interesting movie with good acting but its mind blowing that the writers felt the need to invent history and pretend it was a female FBI as the one who discovered the Unabomber? It’s not true. Why not be accurate? It makes people wonder what else are the filmmaker’s omitting or changing? See more Read all reviews
