Elad S @ouagadougou 3d This movie is a marvel. It begins as a classic movie whose plot has been overdone and filmed hundreds of times each time as unecessary as the last, so you know you're in for a bad time. And then, you get introduced to the actors, and the rating drops by 2 stars immediately. Not a single good actor in the entire movie. And then the plot holes start coming. Small at first but they continue steadily, and you lose just a bit more hope. And then comes the big action scene, that everyone saw coming after seeing the name. And its shit. So horrifically shit. But hey, at least you get possibly the worst kiss in all of cinema history at the end of it... And then, comes a big plot twist! But alas, it is the same one they had freaking minions the rise of gru... and didn't even get that right. To a certain extent I think that if they labled it a comical movie,it would have gotten a much higher rating because the plot is so laughibly bad. If you want a movie to laugh about... I recommend! See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Dec 17 Undercover Grandpa is a mid-2000s film that feels more like a made-for-TV curiosity than a theatrical release. The story follows Jake, a teenage boy whose dream date turns into a rescue mission when the girl is kidnapped, forcing him to rely on his grandfather’s secret past as an intelligence operative. Starring James Caan and Jessica Walter, the film benefits slightly from their veteran presence, but even they cannot elevate the material beyond its limitations. The screenplay is uneven and tonally confused, jumping between family comedy, light action, and teen adventure without ever committing to a clear identity. While the acting is serviceable and never outright terrible, it lacks energy and emotional weight, making most scenes feel forgettable. The pacing keeps the film moving, but the stakes never feel urgent or compelling. Ultimately, Undercover Grandpa sits in an awkward middle ground: not bad enough to hate, not good enough to remember. It fades quickly after the credits roll!. See more Andrea Paolo F @AndreaPaolo Feb 8 Marvellous. Original story, well devise. the movie was well payed by the actors/actresses, the story flows very well, the movie has rythm and it's exciting See more D M 07/27/2024 This is a lighthearted comedy that let's seniors see themselves as "back in the day" memories. It is refreshing for (12+) teens to see their grandparents as human beings that had real lives. It will initiate opening doors of communication with youth and senior family members. It did it for my extended family! See more 08/17/2020 geriatric expendables armed with walkers and depends go on one last mission to return a teen girl back home. most likely not made for anyone over 13, but it seems the producers could find something out there more worthwhile than this painfully unwatchable swill.
