The score, by Philip Glass, adds to the off-kilter mood and the faces of a serene gorilla, and a moody child in a playground, prove especially absorbing. Go to Full Review Geoffrey Macnab Independent (UK) Apr 4, 2014

For all its beauty -- and in spite of Glass's majestic music -- the effect is bewildering. Go to Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian Apr 3, 2014

These actions have become commonplace, gestures for the office or the subway, but seen on the big screen in Reggio's hypnotic style, we remember just how human they are too. Go to Full Review Alexa Dalby Dog and Wolf Jun 7, 2019

Mar 1, 2022 Fabulous experience if you let yourself sink into it. A call to intersubjectivity with our evolutionary cousins and finding a shared space. See more Dec 2, 2016 So fascinating, your mind works for you. Power of this movie is unique, this is closest to art from all the movies that i watched so far. Reactions are made of mixed emotions, sometimes depending of your mood or influence. Well this eliminate influence of color, speech, attitude of main stars, surrounding, or any emotion manipulated by else. Here you are being with yourself. I'm not the one who can said, but i will let my self do, Glass did fenomenal job, brings primordial, lonely, deep, yet your emotion, so powerful to unfold yourself, and see the depth of your mind. Technology is killing empathy, without it, this film can not reach the depth it should. It is a warning. See more Sep 7, 2016 Another film in the vein of Koyaanisqatsi, with moody music and interesting photography, this is a fun item to pop in either for close examination or just for some background 'noise', as it can be rather unobtrusive. Rental! See more Jun 5, 2016 A failed attempt to make an original movie. Visitors is just something you will be disappointed at. See more Jul 30, 2015 The type of art film one would see at the Hirshhorn only much longer and in the comfort of your own home if you rent it on Netflix like I did. CDW See more Dec 15, 2014 Beautifully made, but essentially the same thing Reggio's been doing since the 80's. See more Read all reviews
