A simple storyline that can be told in 30mins, but dragged to more than 120mins in length. Absolutely amazing casts - Liu Ye (China), Chang Chen (Taiwan), Daniel Wu (Hong Kong) and the actress Queen, top notch performances. The movie introduces a fictional character as well - General Xin - to further dramatize the event. Director Chuan Lu's non-linear storytelling is quite effective and presents a deep, multi-layered story that is both intelligent and entertaining.
