Matthew D @OceanSage 4h This is honestly as great as a Watchmen film will ever be. Director Zack Snyder’s superhero epic Watchmen (2009) still impresses me all of these years later. I truthfully hate Snyder’s other movies, but Watchmen will always have a special place in my heart. Snyder’s hyper stylized direction is very cool. Snyder goes full neo-noir to capture the aesthetics of Alan Moore’s legendary comic book. He certainly misses the point of the comic about how immoral and fascist it is for superheroes to do whatever they want. Snyder wants all the over the top violence to look like cool action. It surely looks cool and makes for thrilling action sequences in this movie. The endless narration is a lot, but I like all the details. Watchmen is seriously a must see film. I will say that Zack Snyder cannot ruin author Alan Moore’s genius graphic novel. Watchmen is a gripping portrayal of a bleak world of jaded superheroes. See more Jeremy L @RT60505906 Jul 6 Inicia lento y se darrolla lento,rápidamente se nota que es algo hecho por Zack Snyder por que hay escenas en camara lenta cada 5 minutos, la duracion se me hace algo absurdamente largo por lo poco que dan de trama, esta pelicula se me hace algo meh, me gusta el potencial del Dr Manhattan, pero después veo el "Villano" y hace que piense que es lo mas flojo de la película, desde el momento que vi a ese tipo super inteligente supe que papel tomaría. La escenas de acción son buenas (contando que las escenas de accion son pocas) ademas un tanto exageradas, nadie tenia super poderes a excepción del Dr manhattan y de la nada arrojaban personas y rompían huesos como sobrehumanos. Las escenas de coito se me hicieron bastante largas y sin nada que aportar, ademas de que el problema central pudo resolverse diferente y pudo terminar rapido, pero cayó en lo cliche, pero bueno, tenian que desarrollar de alguna manera a los personajes. This comic book adaptation fits his style more than DC comics. These heroes aren't supposed to be look up to and the deconstruction works so much better. A very unique and interesting movie.
