Lovell T @Lovell May 4, 2026 Even as an allegory it doesn't work well, and the main character's shift from a seemingly wholesome teen to a psychotic rapist of a childhood friend and a murderer of own sibling is hard-pressed to be believed. The inclusion of some benevolent supernatural entity may add some creepiness to the plot, but it doesn't detract from the lackluster acting and is wholly unnecessary if the script could have just focused on a true crime story. The narrative is great but the acting makes it really really bad. See more Anne R @RT23578543 Jan 19, 2025 Spoilers: it’s revealed at the end, everything you just saw is a lie so just ignore all that and here’s what really happened. Not worth it even if I was okay with that big reveal See more Katie E @RT24768907 Sep 17, 2023 Not overly scary but the storyline is decent. They under-played the roles just enough to make them believably creepy.
