When former U.N. investigator Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) and his family get stuck in urban gridlock, he senses that it's no ordinary traffic jam. His suspicions are confirmed when, suddenly, the city erupts into chaos. A lethal virus, spread through a single bite, is turning healthy people into something vicious, unthinking and feral. Overall I give this one 4/5 stars. I enjoyed this take on zombie apocalypses. I enjoyed the locations, theme, the sounds, and the graphics. I think this film shows a lot of what would really happen to humans in several ways esp from government perspective. When I think of all the zombie Apoc films I've watched and think about all the big scenes and then think about the big scenes in this film, I absolutely notice the creative and uniqueness of this one.

World War Z gets a strong 4/5 from me. I really liked the different take on zombies in this movie. Instead of the typical slow undead style, the infection felt more like a rabies-type disease that spread insanely fast and created nonstop tension throughout the film. One of the most interesting ideas was how the zombies required a healthy host. The fact that something as simple as having the common cold could actually save you from being attacked was a unique twist that made the outbreak feel smarter and more unpredictable. The fast-paced action was intense from beginning to end. The massive zombie swarms, city attacks, and chaotic escape scenes made the movie feel constantly dangerous and overwhelming in the best way possible. Brad Pitt did a solid job leading the movie, and the global scale of the outbreak helped make the story feel huge. Overall, World War Z delivered great action, creative zombie concepts, and a fresh take on the genre.
