Narrative imbalance sends the Korean romance off-course, but at least the casual details that dream of Seoul’s overstimulated future are captivating along its scenic route. Go to Full Review

It is a cute enough romance that doesn’t fall into silly animation tropes, like having some bonkers sidekick, or non-organic musical numbers. Go to Full Review

Given its limited strengths, “Lost in Starlight” is likable, but unmemorable. Go to Full Review

Heebie J @hebzzz Jan 14 Bro this literally left me crying. I was so invested in the romance and the ANIMATION UGH. The animation is so GOOD and the colour grading. Any scene in this show could be a beautiful wallpaper. So mcuh passion was put into making this show and it really shows. But i feel like the plot, actually no, the plot was fine. But the romance kind of threw me off. It feels as if the two main people in the romance fell in love a bit too fast but once again i have high standards for romance anyway. But this is definitely a comfort watch for me, it has such a comfy vibe to it. And the end??? GIRL. THAT LEFT ME CRYINGG. I was in such a state of mental anguish. The chcracters felt so real and their struggles jumped out of the screen and reflected some things that i had been dealing with. Its rare for the characters to be well written in a romance movie so this actually felt like fresh air for me. Only thing stopping it from being 5 stars is just the romance. But you should defeinitely give it a go. See more Kanyth B. @KanythB. Jan 9 Love the song. Nice movie : ) See more Markus P @phantomparasythe Dec 28 Gosh! This is art, a masterpiece. "Always remember Jay, out there in the starlight, someone’s cheering you on." The story is simple, heartwarming, and romantic. It immersed me in the motif of technology, science, and slice-of-life, which are my comfort themes. It would be nice to live in that world of advanced technology. Visually, it’s awe-inspiring. The details are carefully woven together to make a piece that tells a story. English VAs (Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Justin H. Min) did an amazing job with their characters. I’ll rewatch this in Korean (original) next time. In the end we both cried so hard, well I mostly cried but we were both glad there was a happy ending. I would recommend this movie to my friends honestly.
