Beineix accommodated compelling visual beats in periodical rhythms between uniquely cinematographed adrenaline, the sole motor of its categorized assignment, and nicely soothing operatic music served as bridged filter for the film’s plots, complimenting the number of threads with much polished progression for some of them. Funny, engrossing if not tense, beautifully shot, and stylishly directed, images - and especially the colour blue - will remain peppered in your brain long after seeing it. The Asian girl is utterly ridiculous. I and my friends watching this film with me did not especially care much about the characters. With a reasonably plausible story, this would have been a fine film. See more Read all reviews
