In a violent, near-apocalyptic Detroit, evil corporation Omni Consumer Products wins a contract from the city government to privatize the police force. To test their crime-eradicating cyborgs, the company leads street cop Alex Murphy (Peter Weller) into an armed confrontation with crime lord Boddicker (Kurtwood Smith) so they can use his body to support their untested RoboCop prototype. Critics Consensus

A darkly ironic blast of comic book sci-fi, RoboCop fuses scabrous political satire with dazzling action and outrageous gore, rising above its bone-crunching premise through sharp humor, sleek visuals, and an unexpectedly mythical edge.

Part man, part machine, all cop. And all fun. It is, you might say, and arresting adventure.

This is such an interesting movie, it is an amazing film showing the greed of companies and humans. This is a film about a cop (or Robocop) who genuinely wants to help instead of get his paycheck, and it shows the state of humans nowadays. Great movie

It's a mixed bag, the good parts are okay, but the bad parts almost ruin it.

This film takes that same old story of “rouge super cop” but turns into a blood soaked Scfi action movie full to the brim with 80’s cheese. Everything works, the film is wild and eccentric while still being somewhat relatable and interesting. Nancy Allen, she is the one. She see’s everything for what it is and I think the audience is really viewing these crazy events through her eyes. Robocop is just wonderful. The most fun.
