Grocery store clerk Simon (Desmond Askew) occasionally sells drugs from his cash register at work, so when soap opera actors Adam (Scott Wolf) and Zack (Jay Mohr) come looking for Ecstasy on a quiet Christmas Eve, they are surprised to find Ronna (Sarah Polley) covering his shift. Desperate for money, Ronna decides to become an impromptu drug dealer, unaware that Adam and Zack are secretly working for obsessed narcotics officer Burke (William Fichtner).

It starts to go awry in frenetic Vegas, when you realize that things happen because the screenplay it, not from any internal logic. It's the whatever school of filmmaking. "Go" has its pleasures, but I didn't really believe a word of it.

This is one my my favorite movies. But, it takes time to like. For example, I wasn't too fond of it first time around, but second time, it was awesome. What's annoying is that it's really hard to find this movie on RT. You have to look it up on google first in order to find it on the site. This movie should be better known.

Well that's about 90-some minutes I'd like to get back. Not sure how about 90% of critics gave this a positive review; some of them glowing. Were they on Ecstasy, too, when they saw it? "Pulp Fiction"? This wasn't even "Son of Son of Daughter-in-Law of Pulp Fiction". It's as if the writer and director were best buds, watched some 'one crazy night' 80's flicks and saw "Pulp Fiction" 25 times and thought, "Hey, we can do that". Well, buds...wrong! I love Sarah Polley, and she's fine. Holmes is ok. Jay Rohr is cardboard, as always. Bexton is bad, and somehow actual Brit Askew has a horribly fake sounding British accent. Both very annoying characters, too. It's not all bad, though. There are some very attractive women, a couple quite well 'established'. The score is a good fit for the movie. And the pacing is pretty brisk. But the cliched chase down by the Vegas strip club guys is lame. And the ending is dumb. Are we to believe that Manny is still gonna be there in the same hiding place after days, maybe a week plus, and still alive? 2.5 stars
