Ron J @RT47696882 Sep 23, 2026 Big Fish is a love letter to fathers, sons, stories, and the space between fact and memory. Edward Bloom turns a life into myth, while his son searches for the man behind the tales. The result is funny, tender, and full of wonder. Its heart comes from the simple truth that stories can reveal what facts cannot. By the end, the tall tales feel less like inventions and more like gifts. Big Fish leaves you with tears, a smile, and a deeper love for the people who shape our stories. See more Mark B @Thelaser555 Sep 22, 2026 Probably one of the worst films I have ever seen. Albert Finney's fake American accent wears very thin and the film's continual flashbacks and characters are just comical. Why did I bother?? See more Robert P @Superbad Sep 2, 2026 What a wonderful movie this is, an old dying man recounts his adventures as a younger man! See more Mackenzie A @Mackenz Aug 10, 2026 Big Fish is a beautiful film about the stories we tell, the people we love, and the complicated ways we try to understand our parents. It’s clever, whimsical, funny, and deeply emotional without ever losing its sense of wonder. What makes the writing so special is the way it blurs the line between fact and fantasy. At first, the larger-than-life stories seem almost too unbelievable, but as the film unfolds, you begin to realize that perhaps the truth isn’t always about what literally happened. Sometimes the stories we tell become their own kind of truth. The performances are wonderful, and the dialogue carries so much warmth and meaning. Beneath all the fantastical adventures is a very human story about a son trying to understand his father before it’s too late. By the end, Big Fish becomes much more than a fantasy. It’s a poignant reminder that the people we love often live on through the stories we choose to remember. A genuinely magical and heartfelt film. See more Emerson F @emersonfs1980 Jul 17, 2026 A visual and narrative masterpiece that challenges how we view reality and legacy. The film perfectly balances Tim Burton's whimsical fantasy with deep family drama, though the pacing shifts a bit abruptly between the fabulous tales and the harsh reality of the present-day hospital. The feeling left watching it at home is a profound reflection on life and the stories we leave behind, with an ending so moving it brought tears to my eyes; it leaves a lingering ache in the chest and a strong wish to have experienced the magic of its spectacular visuals on the big theater screen.
