The Trouble With Men and Women doesn't illuminate anything, including the compulsion among some filmmakers to recycle the hoariest romantic situations, in the presumed hope that a charming cast might save the day. Go to Full Review Nick Schager Slant Magazine Aug 11, 2006

Although the setting of this tiny, well-acted movie is contemporary London, it could be any European or American city where people mate and hope for the best. Go to Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall Aug 15, 2006

The characters never really come alive--they're rather unlikeable and vague, without much personality. Go to Full Review Ken Fox TV Guide Aug 9, 2006

Fisher's characters often turn to the likes of Voltaire to make their point about the ways of the heart and the world, but it's smart enough on its own terms. It's sweet and well done, and carries a slight air of the nouvelle vague. Go to Full Review Read all reviews

Mar 20, 2012 Fairly predictable and unrealistic (at least the end part is) and fairly realistic in other ways. I have been in these situations before. However the ending to me just reeks of easy way out that doesn't resemble anything that happens in real life. The only reason this film works is the acting for the most part. See more Nov 8, 2010 Didnt hate it. Didnt love it. The trouble with this film was its predictability. As soon as you saw that the main characters were two guys friends and one of their girlfriends, you pretty much know what is going to happen. Utterly forgettable. See more May 4, 2008 Ok here we go. First of all this wasn't a good movie, Tony Fisher could make it a short film and save as and him some time, second the editing could've been much more better, third don't let me start with the characters there, so i suggest you see "My Blueberry Nights" same story a man meets a woman, a woman meets a man same effects in the editing so you can see the differences.
