An ambitious executive at a record company, Aaron Green (Jonah Hill) gets what looks like an easy assignment: He must escort British rock legend Aldous Snow (Russell Brand) to L.A.'s Greek Theatre for the first stop on a lucrative comeback-concert tour. Snow, however, has different plans. Learning his true love is in California, the rocker vows to win her back before starting the tour, forcing Aaron to pull out all the stops to get Snow on stage in time.

Critics Consensus

Thanks to a suitably raunchy script and a pair of winning performances from Jonah Hill and Russell Brand, Get Him to the Greek is one of the year's funniest comedies.

I like to think I have a sense of humour, but this is horribly tiresome and probably only fit for teenage boys, who do seem to get a buzz from this sort of thing.

Either way, it--and the movie--is annoying.

Not quite up to par with Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but this is one easily worth multiple viewings with the potential to get funnier and funnier each time.

Get Him to the Greek, follows the Apatow brand model by merging wild and crazy events and characters with a story peppered with realistic heart.

Get Him to the Greek will make you laugh, but by no means does it live up to the Apatow standard.

Irresistible gall. The vulgarity makes waves and the public drowns in laughter. [Full review in Spanish]

It was funnier than I thought it would be. I laughed out loud several times. And the songs are almost as funny as Spinal Tap's

Jonah Hill is such a good actor-this was pretty funny but didn't need all the sex sh.t-it's enough just to have good lines and just be hillarious and heartfelt

Quite possibly one of the worst movies ever made. Any movie with no talent hack Russell Nobrand is horrible terrible unwatchable. When actors have to use their real names because they can't remember the characters names you know it sucks. Anybody that thinks this movie is funny needs to have their medicines increased. My Favorite Year was infinitly better.

Unique and comical, however lacking in a proper story.
