The characters are honest and true, the fight sequences are brutal and raw, while the central themes being delivered in the denouement pack a major emotional wallop. Go to Full Review

The MMA action is bone-jarring and brutal and you can feel each punch and kick. But at it’s core this is a brilliant and heartfelt character study brought to life by some strong acting and a rock solid script. Go to Full Review

Tommy G. @grubbdogg 2d Awesome movie great story with a good message. See more Stefano G @StefanoGalimberti 6d It hits you with the punches, it hits you with the feeilings, it hits you with a great story of rage, will and second chances. It's not the most original story of all times, but it does not need to be that. Warrior takes the script of a thousand of other fighting movies and pushes it to another level with great acting and writing. It's raw, it's emotional, it's moving and every detail is in its place. I was genuinely crying when Brendan (Joel Edgerton) was tould by his coach in a gently way to come back on the ring and remember why you're doing this, while he was on the brink of another devastating injury. It tells the audience the there is more strength than you think in the people and, again, not the most original story, but it is delivered in a way to remember. See more Christian T @Tur7on Jan 21 Warrior is one of those movies that you can never get tired of watching, I must of seen it 50 times without exaggeration. Brendan a high school teacher is 90 days off losing everything he and his wife have worked for, losing his job Brendan must find a way to make money to save his home, Tommy is an Iraq war veteran who is trying to support the family of Manny, his fallen brother in arms, through a video of him sparring that goes viral he along with Brendan get invited to fight in a winner takes all MMA tournament. Warrior is not just another brawler movie, this is arguably the greatest sports movie ever made, and I say that with no exaggeration, a stellar cast and terrific story makes this a movie you cannot miss. See more Ian H @Howellsey Jan 18 Surprising emotional depth. Out Rocky's Rocky! Great performances See more Cameron S. @camstew Jan 9 One of the under-appreciated movies of all-time. Incredible writing and acting and a story that pulls on all of the emotions. See more Brian F. @FedUpDVDCollector Dec 31 Amazing performances from Hardy, Edgerton and Nolte. Most fights seemed quick and uneventful to speed the movie up.. but this movie really isn’t about the fighting. It’s about family, brothers and fathers, soldiers, blood’s thickness compared to water and how love can make you tap out. See more Read all reviews
