A fresh and hopeful perspective, in which humor frequently intrudes. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review Samantha Schuster Cinéfilo Serial Jul 25, 2025

It is a very nice film, which despite at times trying to cover too many topics, manages to move and entertain the viewer (both local and foreign) with a nostalgic story of roots. [Full Review in Spanish] Go to Full Review Ayla Ruby Loud and Clear Reviews Oct 20, 2024

"Adiós Buenos Aires" reminds us that migrating means exchanging some anxieties for others and that we—and not politicians or external circumstances— ultimately build our homes. [Full Review in Spanish] Go to Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall May 7, 2024

Strong production values add lovely visual textures that add to the film's engaging style. And the script takes a bittersweet approach to the narrative, exploring conflicting emotions in a wide range of characters. Go to Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Apr 29, 2024
Engrossing, gentle and sweet, but slightly contrived, unfocused and sugar-coated. Go to Full Review Read all reviews

////// I started watching without any expectations and it completely moved me to the point that I'm crying buckets at 3 in the morning. Beautiful. The nostalgia, the sadness, each character is affected in different ways. The atmosphere of the era is remarkably well portrayed and it's woven throughout the entire plot, watching it leaves you with a lump in your throat again. See more Read all reviews
