I used to watch the movie almost everyday and really enjoy going back to certain scenes in the movie because of it being crazy funny. 21 years later and watching it as an adult, the film hit in a totally different way from when I watched it as a child. The movie is not only fun but inspirational which is very touching but most importantly the songs have a powerful meaning e.g Take the First Step, I see a Kingdom, Together Forever the world seems fine. Beautiful songs and almost very closing linked with the Wizard of Oz although different but very similar concepts. The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland

M'Lady, Little Ricky, Tanya, Lyle, Howard and Sydney comprise the Pesties, willing minions of Bug and Huxley. With his cherished blue blanket at his side, 'Sesame Street's' lovable red monster, Elmo, makes his feature film debut. The villainous Huxley (Mandy Patinkin, right) and his partner in crime Bug the bug succeed in swiping Elmo's fuzzy blue blanket. Elmo (left) goes on an adventure to find his cherished blue blanket when it gets lost in Grouchland during a game of tug-of-war with his friend Zoe. Grouchland's Queen of Trash (Vanessa Williams) extols the virtues of garbage when she performs the upbeat song "Point of View" for Elmo. Elmo (center) encounters characters like the villainous Huxley (Mandy Patinkin, background) when he goes on an adventure into a far-away land to find his cherished blue blanket.
