It's good enough for people who don't really understand the complexities of life, that includes children and many adults. I think the animation style should've been more "Teen Titans" vibe, to match with the shallow understanding of much deeper concepts and situations. Batman should not be relatable. Year One and Gotham Knight did better. No more "big eyes" Ben Affleck please.

This is my all time favorite storyline in Batman (and Odin knows, I read em all). While I absolutely loved and appreciated the Dark Knight rises... this... was next level. An outstanding animated rendition of the comics themselves. Beautiful, terrifying, heart wrenching, and much more.

Bane breaking Batman’s back is a classic; a legendary story of how Gotham’s hero was absolutely demolished by one of his worst enemies, mentally and physically. "Batman Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall" is a worthy animated adaptation of the famed work of Chuck Dixon, Jo Duffy, Alan Grant, Dennis O’Neil, and Doug Moench. "Batman Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall" is an impressive adaptation of the comic and really does the story justice. While there was a key moment that was cut out, the overall package did its job in setting up the rest of the "Knightfall" storyline. Warner Bros. Animation might not get it right every time, but this movie is a worthy addition to their animated line-up.
