Just by doing a Google search and reading for 5 mins you will find more information than watching this movie for 1 1/2 hours. Not accurate looked nothing like Ed Gein and did not really dive into his life beginning or end. It just drops you off in the middle. The script and acting were also very sloppy. See more 12/08/2015 These live action quasi-documentaries are always questionable. It does a very basic job with no backstory of showing some of the torture and murder. It takes place directly during the time and in the location of the torture and murders. Some of the scenes are dragged out. I think some are unnecessary. And the film for some reason got a lower violence rating than the R rating, it initially called. It's somewhat graphic, as this story is the precursor and the basis and inspiration for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre series. While very few elements carried over into the actual series, the original and real plot was a lot more simpler and realistic.
