Steve T @RT77802368 Apr 8, 2025 Luv the feel and texture of the story telling. Seeing 90s NYC brings back so many memories of the downtown live music scene. Wished I saw them live back in the day. A must see doc for all music lovers. See more Tan G @RT87020295 Mar 23, 2025 Endless Calls for Fame is a beautifully told, fantastic love story not just of a band’s rise and fall and split but of and for an era when music spoke to us. See more Ron B @RT21190494 Mar 20, 2025 This documentary is outstanding! It not only captivates but also profoundly resonates. By delving into the creative process behind talented musicians and their support structure, the film showcases the transformative power of collaboration and relationships in bringing visionary projects to life. With unprecedented intimacy, the documentary invites viewers into the minds of each band member, juxtaposing their youthful passion during the band's heyday with the reflective wisdom of their older selves. This nuanced, multilayered exploration is made possible by the filmmaker's ability to show a unvarneshed realness that is sometimes not present in documentaries. See more Toby Y @RT58588027 Mar 20, 2025 Who wants to watch a film about the mild rise and subsequent fall of a band that none of us have heard of? YOU SHOULD!! This is a really intimate and fascinating portrait not just of the musicians' stories but of a particular time in New York when creativity was alive and inescapable. It's a refreshingly compact movie, but those 82 minutes fly by. Highly recommend. See more Bree S @RT86264274 Mar 15, 2025 You feel all the feels in this well-told story about a promising band navigating NYC’s energetic 90s indie rock scene amidst a drastically changing music industry The film is nostalgic, sentimental, fun and sobering. A must-see for fans of New York history, 90s culture and rock 'n roll. Ultimately, it’s a reflection on humanity and how each of our journeys are shaped by the unpredictable combination of talent, effort, actions and happenstance. It will break your heart and give you hope. See more Read all reviews
