Critics Consensus

Entourage retains many elements of the HBO series, but feels less like a film than a particularly shallow, cameo-studded extended episode of the show.

The TV series was cheeky, witty, outrageous, over-the-top and entertaining. While the film has dashes of that, yet it feels like a haughty 104-minute-long episode with watered down wit and not enough Ari-isms.

There's not much I can say about it, except it demonstrates a staggering lack of creativity -- it plays exactly like an extended episode from the later years of the show.

All a big-screen version does is help magnify how ironically un-cinematic the whole thing is.

It’s all very familiar, and in a cinematic setting, quite unnecessary.

Though Ellin at least keeps the friendships at the heart of Entourage intact, his film comes off only as a lumpen update of a stylish TV series.

An awful lot like watching that sniveling little kid at school who pulls out his prized autographed photo.

If you went into this movie looking for anything more than bro-y laughs, good feeling nostalgia for the series and tons of cameos, that’s on you. This movie delivers where it sets out to.

Entourage is an OK movie to watch if you’re already familiar with the series or just looking for something light and easy to follow. It basically feels like an extended episode of the show rather than a fully standalone film, which can be both a strength and a weakness depending on what you expect. The film leans heavily on Hollywood lifestyle fantasy, with plenty of cameos and flashy settings, which keeps it entertaining at times. However, the story is fairly thin and doesn’t offer much depth or strong stakes, so it can feel a bit hollow if you’re looking for a meaningful plot. The humor is hit or miss, with some moments landing well and others feeling repetitive or forced. The characters are still likable enough, especially if you’re already invested in them, but there’s not much growth or surprise. Overall, it’s a decent watch for fans of the series or casual viewing, but it doesn’t do enough to stand out on its own. A 5/10 feels fair: not bad, but not particularly memorable either.

Jeremy Piven and Kevin Dillon are the best part of this movie. By the way, they were also the best part of the tv show.

Soooo boring. The script is so so dull and will not keep your attention. Absolutely no creativity. Maybe if you are a dull older guy driving around with a baseball cap in a convertible sportscar looking for a younger woman or a 13 yr old boy, you'll enjoy looking at lots of young women.
