Boston store owner Jake (Jay Jablonski) still loves his ex-girlfriend, Isabella (Marisa Petroro), who's now a married mom. He goes on a date with veterinarian Marisa (Cerina Vincent), during which each erroneously thinks the other is Italian. Then Isabella leaves her husband and moves in over Jake's store -- at which point he finally realizes that their relationship is over, and that he actually wants Marisa. But she's now involved with someone else... in Italy!

mark G @Mark_Alan_G. Apr 2 I'm amused quite often when I read the so-called professional critics in here. So many of them are absolutely clueless. They find a horrible movie like McVeigh fresh, then they are overly critical with a nice little romantic comedy like this one. This was an entertaining film, it was well cast, and it moved along pretty quickly. And there there were more than a couple of laughs here. See more alan g @agenser 02/07/2025 No they don't.
