Loved this film - saw it at the IFC Center in NYC. Been a fan of Laura Gabbert's work for some time - City of Gold. In this film we get to follow noted food critic Ruth Reichl as she tries to determine what is wrong with our food system that doesn't support people who create our food (farmer's/ranchers) those who prepare (chef's) or consumers. We also get to know Ruth's fascinating story - and the film has some shining lights of farmers and restauranteurs who are doing great work to make a difference- like White Oak Farms in Georgia. If you care about food this film is essential viewing.
