"Freaks of Nature" proves a lifeless combination of alien invasion saga, zombie thriller, vampire romance and high-school drama.

...a thoroughly abhorrent endeavor that squanders its appealing setup and roster of talented performers.

This horror-comedy starts off with a good idea -- i.e. monsters learning to work together -- but doesn't take it very far. The likable characters and a few laughs are the only worthwhile things in it.

There's a whole lot of arid downtime in between the ostensibly colorful set pieces, and on the whole the movie seems like it was edited with a blender.

Doesn't offer connective tissue, bellylaughs, and scares. It's just a shapeless creation that didn't survive the production process, rendering a promising premise forgettable.

I feel like the 0% is unwarranted. It should get two stars just for the random appearance by Joan Cusack. The characters can act fairly well but there are definitely some spots where the plot lags.

One of the most creative and fun movies I have seen in a long time. The screen writers wrote a creative and singular script and fhe actors delivered the lines with care and fun..

It’s not often that I can watch a movie that actually holds my attention the entire time. Usually, I’m pausing it to go do something else because I get bored. But not this movie. It was just the right amount of silly, stupid fun to be entertaining the whole way through. I recommend watching it. It’s not trying to be a masterpiece. It’s just fun!

One of the worst “comedies” I’ve had the misfortune to see. Avoid it.
