Now hiding out in Eastern Europe, Johnny Blaze (Nicolas Cage) is still struggling with the curse of the Ghost Rider -- the devil's bounty hunter. Johnny meets a priest named Moreau (Idris Elba), who asks Johnny to find a boy named Danny (Fergus Riordan) and bring him back. But there's a catch -- Satan (Ciarán Hinds) is looking for the boy too, and has a personal stake in the matter. But if Johnny can find Danny first and save the boy's soul, there's a chance Johnny can save his own soul as well.

Just the nice action sequences definitely say hellbound avenger, but the script was like a punching bag at the gym, so much punch and predictability in the script; just played out, the CGI is subpar, able to past the test at its minimal. Nick's acting kinda makes me feel awkward when he wants to appear scary, funny when he wants to appear psycho and cringy when he wants to appear funny.. the background music kinda slays though...

The first movie was way better. They traded quality for slightly better action scenes and terrible CGI, also horrible punchy scripts. Cage was definitely just trying to get a quick paycheck from this one. Also, why does every bad guy have a rocket launcher?

Ultimately, a forgettable action flick. Weak dialogue and a poorly fleshed out plot really hurt this film. Cage does add presence here, and I think he, Elba, and the devil actor lift this movie up a notch, but you are starting from a low bar. The kid didn't make a TON of sense, but at least he had a role to play, unlike the mom that was there for... uh... reasons....
