Alex B @AlexBioni Sep 22, 2026 I Can't, I'm Getting My Nipples Pierced I'm not totally sure how we ended up here after 6, but you know what you're getting into. Michael stalks and kills people. This feels totally 90s and very much like fall. The opening kills had me thinking, oh okay, we got something going here. Brutal Michael. It doesn't make sense that Laurie is presumed dead in 4, only for Laurie to have another kid here. This also removes 4, 5 and 6 from the timeline but doesnt tell you that. It's weird having a reboot, not reboot movie. This isn't Scream. I liked all the characters this time. They had a reason to be there, and the movie fleshed them out. Jamie Lee Curtis being back was great, and I liked her arc. I liked the school setting instead of the same old town. Scream 2 on the TV was great. The kills were unique, and that ending was crazy. Overall, it's the same type of movie as the rest, but it reminds me of New Nightmare. The Creed song during the credits earns this an extra half star. See more Sloth . @Slothhhhh Sep 14, 2026 This movie was horrible, i’ve heard so much praise that it’s one of the better sequels, but hoooly. I’ve never been more bored watching a Halloween movie. I fail to see how anyone could call this better than Halloween 4 or even Halloween 5. Any scary moments are completely ruined by the mask they used in this movie. It’s terrible, you can see Michael’s eyes at all times and it just looks like some confused autistic man. All of Michael’s movements and mannerisms feel forced and like they’re trying to copy Nick Castle from the original film. So many stupid choices made by Laurie, and the overall setting was terrible. Don’t waste your time with this one, it isn’t worth it. See more B P @Bradster69 Aug 31, 2026 Not Bad, but Not My Favorite See more Churc H @RT15677948 Aug 6, 2026 Love this movie. Halloween 2 still has the top spot of being my favorite, but this movie is definitely right behind it. After the dumpster fire that was resurrection, I think it made me appreciate this movie all the more. I see this, H2, and the 1978 film as the perfect trilogy in this franchise. Great movie! Glad they brought back the Loury strode character, has cool kills but doesn't stand out to me See more Read all reviews
