The film has much to say about grief, guilt, assimilation and the on-going refugee crisis. And on top of all that, it's also a nifty nerve-jangler.

His House is a story of guilt, loss, and the challenges of assimilating to another culture. It demonstrates fiction’s ability to foster empathy, and proves there is value in using a well-orchestrated scare-fest as a vessel for such powerful themes.

My GOD. I have NO IDEA how this is number one. I wasn’t scared in the list. I have no idea what critics are thinking but this and Under The Shadow were the biggest waste of time. DONT WATCH.

It was more sad than scary. The ending pissed me off. It was pretty good but I feel like the ending should have went a different way.
