La La Land breathes new life into a bygone genre with thrillingly assured direction, powerful performances, and an irresistible excess of heart.

If individual set pieces are indeed dazzling, La La Land ultimately feels bloated by its references, by the mad rush to imitate all Chazelle’s inspirations.

One of THE BEST movies of all time with musical scores, acting, and story line. Doesn't matter how many times I have seen this movie, it breaks me every time (and I don't even care for musicals I'm extremely picky!)
