Matilde S @RT47558078 3 days ago The film Lionheart was directed by Genevieve Nnaji and it was released in 2018. Plot: Adaeze Obiagu must team up with her eccentric uncle to save her ailing father's bus company from severe financial debt and a hostile takeover. The main character is Adaeze Obiagu. A big issue in the film is the debt the company has. The film gives us an insight into more of the Nigerian culture and different perspectives. Before watching the film, an international audience might expect that there are only savannas and lions. The film challenges this expectation by showing what Nigeria also is. One stereotype or assumption about Nigeria that the film challenges is that all people are poor. The main languages we hear are English and Igbo. The use of both languages shows that they are smart and speak 2 languages - they are bilingual. Adaeze shows that women can do whatever they want. Big assumption: Men are better than women, which the main character tries to disprove during the whole movie See more Jul 13, 2020 Fun to watch especially if u understand the Igbo language...
