TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 1 day ago Spidey and the Avengers Halloween Team-Up is a cute Disney 30-minute special that I thought was very well done. It feels like a fun way to bring Spider-Man into a younger Disney universe while introducing Marvel characters to a new generation. I am assuming they call him Spidey because this version of Spider-Man is a kid, along with Iron Man, Black Panther, and the Wasp. Hulk seems to be a teenager, while Captain America is a grown man, which made me wonder if the super-soldier serum explains why he is still an adult. Either way, the concept works. The animation is well done, the story is fun, and the special has a positive message about not being afraid and being comfortable being yourself. I liked the idea that you do not need expensive costumes or a lot of money to have fun. Cardboard, paint, and creativity can be enough. Ultimately, this is aimed at younger Marvel fans. It is cute, creative, and well put together, but it is not really designed for adult viewers. See more Read all reviews
