Mr. Peabody (Ty Burrell), the most accomplished canine in the world, and his boy, Sherman (Max Charles), use a time machine called the Wabac to embark on outrageous adventures. However, when Sherman takes the Wabac without permission to impress his friend Penny (Ariel Winter), he accidentally rips a hole in the universe and causes havoc with world history. It's up to Mr. Peabody to mount a rescue and prevent the past, present and future from being permanently altered.

Loaded with references from literature, history and popular culture. I can't imagine a Minion punning, "Marie Antoinette could have kept her head if she had issued an edict to distribute bread to the poor. But you can't have your cake and edict too."

Waited 10 years to review this movie. I loved this movie when I was 3 and still do I’m now 13. Highly recommend even for older teen it’s a great movie and will brighten everyone’s day!! 🫶

To give other Rocky & Bullwinkle characters a spinoff in their own universe. I loved the sight of the characters & I wanted to see it for my 3rd cinema experience. In it, I was introduced to all of it. Mr Peabody created many things & had talent for every activity - like Yogi Bear, he was smarter than the average one or father when he found Sherman & taught him things for all of times. I was not sure Sherman was a well-behaved boy since he bit Penny like a dog & secretly walked with her to the WABAC without permission meaning that the movie ain't perfect. Whilst using the WABAC, I was also learning a bit shocking history such as King Tut being a child & was almost to marry Penny. Then, when the big incident occurred & all the past figures were in the present day, it was funny how they enjoyed modern things. When Mr Peabody was almost taken, Sherman admitted to being a dog which would be the most heartwarming moment - ever dog deserves a boy. The villains are in the past: Grunion was nicely suited to marry Agamemnon who was voiced by Patrick Warburton who does a great role with these sorts of characters - other of the cast are wonderful, especially Ty Burrel with his wittiness. The past could also be good with bringing things of the present to the past. Does that mean things will make cooler future for their times in another universe? It's no Peanuts MOVIES but it's worth a try.

Synopsis
