Not a bad effort. The actors were reasonably good. The standout was the practical effects, which looked great for the 80s. Not a strong or memorable storyline... merely an excuse to get to the crazy stuff. Fun for a teen scream.

One of the best horror films, of the horror decade that defined other decades, this fun, but scary Halloween film is certainly not for everyone, but as far as horror buffs, it's one of the best films of its era, and it's still enjoyable to this very day, the rest of the franchise is good too, but this one is the best!!! Highly recommend!!!
