What to Know

Critics Consensus

A pioneering feat in the field of twerking polar bear animation but blearily retrograde in every other respect, Norm of the North should only be screened in case of parental emergency.

Norm of the North is a rancid excursion into well-intentioned animated chaos that proves to be an excruciating endurance test no one of sound mind or body should ever attempt to watch, and that includes their children. Go to Full Review Roxana Hadadi Chesapeake Family Magazine Aug 2, 2016

With its strangely adult plot about global warming and real estate development and its mediocre animation style, Norm of the North is one to skip. Go to Full Review Mark Kermode Observer (UK) Mar 20, 2016

Has little to recommend it. Padded with dance numbers - two in the first fifteen minutes alone - and montages, the best that can be said is that bad movies like this are important to remind us that the Pixar movies aren't flukes. Go to Full Review Cate Marquis We Are Movie Geeks May 7, 2019

Robert P @Superbad 2 days ago Norm of the North is a *1*star Movie! See more Gavin M @SomeRandomViewer Aug 5, 2026 Rob Schneider is a somewhat popular comedic actor, who seemed to have it all. Until one day, he came across a pot roast, and his life changed forever. Now he is in the north, and turned into a polar bear? From the creaters of 'DER', and 'TUM TA TITTALY TUM TA TOO'. Rob Schneider is 'Norm of the North', rated PG-13. As a neutral fan of his previous films such as 'THE STAPLER', 'THE CARROT', 'DA DERP DEE DERP DA TEETLY DERPEE DERPEE DUMB', and 'KENNY'. I can confidently say this is probably one of his works, and proudly deserves the PG rating. I strongly recommend this film if you want to be absolutely blown away by his work. Watch it now on VHS.
